Strategic Advisors
Led by Ashley Wilson and J Scott, Bar Down Investments was founded in 2018 and has acquired over $60m in multifamily apartments across multiple states.
Ashley has been a real estate investor since 2008 and is a sought after speaker on
multifamily operations, inclusive of asset & construction management. She has consulted and advised several well-known owners across the country and leads a multifamily coaching program, helping other investors learn to invest in apartments. J is an industry leader, having written four best-selling investment books, and has personally bought and sold over $70M in residential real estate since 2008. He is a sought-after speaker and mentor. After a prominent technology career, J still participates as a strategic advisor for several venture-backed companies in the real estate space.
Marco Barbaro
Co-founder of MIH Mastermind
In 1996, Marco graduated from Fairfield University and turned down a job with GE Capital to go into the restaurant business with his brother Gino. At the age of 23, he bought his first multifamily property, a 4-family, in New York. In 2013, he began investing with his brother and Jake in Knoxville Tennessee, where they purchased their first twenty-five unit deal. Since then, he has partnered with Jake & Gino and on his own on over 2,800 units, and has witnessed and participated in the growth of the company.
Hadar Orkibi
Principal and Managing Partner of MFI Holdings.
With over two decades of experience as a property investor and trader, Hadar’s focus is on multifamily apartment buildings with high potential. Utilizing his expert strategies in house flipping, subdivision, new construction, NNN commercial real estate, joint ventures, and multifamily investing, Hadar has helped thousands of investors diversify their portfolios.
